Chocolate Truffles
Very easy, very scrummy homemade chocolate truffles, they only take a few minutes to make (cooling time overnight) and will keep well in the fridge for up to 10 days. – Coat them just before you eat……

Chocolate truffles Ingredients
- 150g dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids, we love Green and Black’s)
- 150ml double cream
- 2 tablespoon brandy or rum (optional)
- 1 tablespoon good-quality cocoa powder
To make Chocolate truffles
Place the cream in a small saucepan and bring to simmering point, take off the heat and add the chocolate in pieces, add the rum/brandy (optional) and stir together until you have a smooth mixture. Transfer to a bowl, leave to cool, cover with cling film and put in the fridge overnight.
Remove from the fridge, roll into little balls and just before you eat them or present them as a gift, roll them in cocoa powder.
