Looks very festive placed in colourful containers or stainless steel buckets. The ingredients here are just suggestion and open to interpretation. You can really use whatever you fancy on the day.

Meaty swords

Ingredients

• Readymade Swedish meatballs
• A cucumber
• Cheddar cheese
• Cherry tomatoes
• 1 packet of bbq sticks

To make ...

Rinse the cucumber and tomatoes, slice the cucumber into chunky slices and cut the cheese into bite size cubes.

1. Place on your sword (bamboo stick) first a slice of cucumber, then meatball, cherry tomato, a cube of cheese and so fort. Max 6 pieces per stick.
2. Important snip off with scissors the pointed bit of the stick to avoid any little accidents.
3. Place in a container or pot of your choice.

Fruity swords

Ingredients

• A bunch of grapes
• 250g of Strawberries
• 2 bananas
• Pineapple, sliced and cubed
• 1 packet of bbq sticks

To make ...

Rinse the fruit, prepare the pineapple and cut into cubes, slice the bananas, cut the strawberries in half if very large.

1. Then place the choice of your fruit on the sword (bamboo stick). Max 6 pieces per stick.
2. Important snip off with scissors the pointed bit of the stick to avoid any little accidents.
3. Place in a container or pot of your choice.
