So easy to make, make the toffee, leave to cool, then wrap individually in greaseproof paper for delightful little bon bon’s.

Ingredients

• 6 tbs of sugar
• 115g of butter
• 3 tbs of milk
• 3 tbs of treacle
• a little vinegar

Method

1. Line a small baking tray with non-stick parchment paper
2. Place all the ingredients in a heavy based saucepan. Bring to the boil and boil gently for 20 minutes on a moderate heat, as it easily gets too hot and will burn. Test the mixture to see if it is ready, drop a little into a bowl of cold water and if it forms a ball it’s ready.
3. Pour the warm mixture into a small baking tray and leave in the fridge for the rest of the afternoon. Cut into squares. Why not wrap in greaseproof paper, twisting the ends to make into individual little tasty packs.
