Love, birds and pancakes in the air!

Despite it being mid winter there is plenty of stuff going on to light up the days. By simply making the most lovely messy bird food concoctions (my son’s words!) you will see birds in all the colours of the rainbow (a little imagination may be needed here) flock to your garden! There are a handful of suggestion below, from stringing monkey nuts on twine to bird ‘suet pudding’. Enjoy…no doubt the birds will.

Valentine’s Day is just round the corner and is a chance to turn an ordinary Tuesday into a bit of fun for all your loved ones. Kids will enjoy being made a fuss over and it is so easy: cupcakes with heart sprinkles set on heart doilies, toast hearts for breakfast (using cake cutters), heart shaped balloons, paper straws with red hearts on etc. Plenty of little thing you can do to make this day a little special and different. Or get them involved and make beautiful heart straw decoration which detach and looks lovely stuck on a handmade card afterwards.

Fast forward one week and get ready for flipping the pancakes, savory or sweet, they are sure to be a hit and so will you for making them. (Remember not long till mother’s day!)
