This is the essence of Pipii… the creative heart of the company. All suggestions and ideas are tested (you should see the state of my kitchen table) before posting them here and hope that you will treasure this page as much as we do. Spring & Easter crafts

Spring and Easter, the time of year where we yearn for colours and the outdoors so what better time to get creative and bring the garden inside. Plenty of great ways to plant, display and present Spring bulbs and flowers. Pop in recycled food tins, add raffia and twine to turn into little gifts or make beautiful Easter gardens in our wooden trays and baking moulds - it’s a great project for kids to get involved in.

We have included a lovely paper project which will delight at any time of year: Mini Piñatas - anyone can make this without making a trip to the art shop. All you need is: Empty toilet rolls, tissue or other paper (this would even look great made from newspaper) but we have made it from colourful tissue paper especially for Easter.

Finally one of two quick ideas to do with the kids for the Easter break: Cress eggs heads are a must, sow cress seeds in cotton wool placed inside half a cleaned and dried egg shell and decorate with a marker. Who can make the goofiest egg head!

For the Easter break, make cake and food flags and toppers from cocktail sticks and decoupage images. Marshmellows dipped in chocolate and sprinkles look great decorated with topper and are quite a hit!
