Birch Bark Candle Pots
Next time you go for a woodland walk, look out for fallen birch trees. They will have the loveliest bark falling off, which is very pliable, easy to cut into and hugely decorative.

A perfect 5 min craft project for the busy week leading up to Christmas but looks nothing like a 5 min project when finished and makes really great presents too.
You will need:
- Old glass jar jars
- Raffia or ribbon
- A crafts knife
Instructions:
- Clean up your bark and find a piece large enough to cover your jam jar.
- Cut it to shape at the bottom. You can choose to do the same at the top or leave rustic, which ever you prefer.
- Cut 2-3 random star shapes out of the bark with the craft knife.
- Now secure the bark to the jam jar with raffia or ribbon.
- Finally place a t-light inside and you will have the prettiest t-light candle pot around.
