You will need:

• Scissors
• Mix of papers in complimentary colours, (left over wall paper is great here)
• A round glass (to be turned upside down for a circular shape).
• String or Bakers twine
• Needle
• Beads/ button or bell (optional)

A sewing machine can be used but is not necessary.

Method:

• Cut out as many circles in complimentary coloured papers as you wish, the more you make the longer the bunting.
• Arrange the circles in which order you like them.
• Next sew the circles together either using a sewing machine in which case it works best if the circles are close together leaving no gaps between each circle.
• Alternatively use bakers twine in spring green or yellow to stitch across each circle with generous stitching leaving a little space between each circle.
• Finish each end either with a tassel done in your chosen twine or attach a bead/bell/button - whatever you may have to hand.

Make it in spring pastel and fresh colours for Easter and Spring, red white and blues for street parties and celebrations. Whites for your eco – wedding, the list goes on! Use your imagination to create your perfect bunting.
