Surprise, surprise...it's New Year again and as always we have not yet quite emerged from Christmas hibernation!!

 Its been a busy busy season for us and we hope you have all received packaged filled with goodies you have been pleased to receive. We do try to find lovely 'bits' to make visiting Pipii
a bit of joy and a delight during these busy months.
Now we 'batten down the hatches' for a few days but don't worry if you have forgotten something for New Year we can still dispatch this on Thursday the 29th Dec again.

To me, this is the smell of Christmas and what I will be doing with my kids today.
This is the only gingerbread you will find baking in Denmark. Soft and delicious tasting hearts, mostly decorated with a thin coat of dark chocolate with a vintage decoupage image of Father Christmas or Angels on top finished off with your name written in white icing. They are hung in windows and on the tree as decorations prior to being eaten.

 This dough also make excellent gingerbread houses as this is a slightly thicker dough and biscuit when cooked compared with the traditional gingerbread biscuit base.
